Nicole Piller Pilates & Yoga Studio offers a unique teacher training program in an intimate environment with maximum of 4 teacher trainees. This comprehensive program includes weekend teacher training modules, observation hours, mentored teaching hours with guidance and feedback, as well as internship teaching hours.

Pilates, created by Joseph Pilates, is far beyond an exercise system, it is a commitment for the whole body with guiding principles of breath, precision, control, centering, flow and balanced muscle development. Joseph Pilates’ philosophical standpoints in conjunction with teaching the exercises create profound results in body, mind, and spirit.

The time frame for this program is at a pace that allows students to assimilate the repertoire, embody anatomy and how we move, and apply it to teaching early on in the process. This training program is highly personalized to your specific needs.   Trainees are introduced within the first teacher training module with guidance and feedback given to develop different types of cuing and an expert eye. Additionally, students can complete the training within a time frame that works for each individual.

Nicole Piller Pilates & Yoga Studio is recognized by the PMA (Pilates Method Alliance) for CEC’s.

New applicants will be required to attend a minimum of 5 group classes before training begins (or a minimum of a 1 hour private).

Summer special for group classes is being offered June – August, 2016. Any 5 group classes for the months of June – August 2016 for $50 (HST included).

There are two different levels of mat certification being offered for the 2016/2017 calendar year.   One is a Comprehensive Mat Program that covers Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced levels. The other certification is a Level 1 & 2 that covers Beginner and Intermediate mat.
